Former Bhiwani MP Jagbir Chaudhary Passes Away at 85
•
Former Bhiwani MP Chaudhary Jangbir Singh passed away on Friday at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after a prolonged illness.
•
Born on March 1, 1941, in Kharkari (Makhwan) village, he served in the Raj Rifles and fought in the 1962 and 1965 wars against China and Pakistan.
•
He was imprisoned during the Emergency from 1975 to 1977 and later served as a Lok Sabha MP from Bhiwani (1991-1996) for the Haryana Vikas Party.
•
Inspired by his father, Chaudhary Raghubir Singh, who was also a Subedar, Jangbir Singh was dedicated to national and social service.
•
His last rites will be performed on March 28 at 11 AM at Chaudhary Raghubir Singh Farm House on Tosham Jui Road.
