Himachal Police Inspector Sanjeev Kumar Cracks UPSC in 5th Attempt While Working

•Himachal Police Inspector Sanjeev Kumar from Nurpur, Kangra, secured 844th rank in the UPSC examination on his fifth attempt.
•Currently serving in the Vigilance Department in Nahan, Sanjeev balanced his job with rigorous studies.
•His success is attributed to the unwavering support of his family, especially his wife Ritu Chaudhary and brother Vikas Kumar.
•Sanjeev previously cleared HAS prelims five times and reached the interview stage, also passing UGC NET, SET, and JRF exams.
•He joined Himachal Pradesh Police in 2020, was promoted to Inspector in October 2025, and has been attempting Civil Services since 2017.
