• The Bengaluru-Chennai high-speed rail corridor (306 Km) may feature two underground stations in Bengaluru: Byappanahalli and Whitefield.
• The final alignment survey for the Chennai-Bengaluru stretch is complete, with finalization expected soon.
• Stations along the corridor include Chennai Central, Poonamallee, Parandur, Chittoor (Ramapuram), Kolar (Hudukula), Kodihalli, Whitefield, and Byappanahalli.
• The corridor is designed for a maximum speed of 350 kmph, with an operational speed of 320 kmph.
