Yelahanka to Host India's Largest Railway Terminal at Rs 5,754 Crore

• Union MoS for Railways V Somanna announced a mega railway terminal in Bengaluru's Yelahanka.
• The project, costing Rs 5,754 crore, will be India's largest terminal.
• Initially proposed for Devanahalli, the project was shifted to Yelahanka due to distance from the city.
• The terminal will span 20 acres, featuring 16 platforms, 10 stabling lines, and 15 pit lines.
• Redevelopment of KSR Bengaluru City, Yeswantpur, and Bengaluru Cantonment stations also underway.
