•Bengaluru East City Corporation (BECC) presented its first budget of Rs 3,890 crore for 2026-27, focusing on infrastructure and citizen initiatives.
•Key projects include a Rs 150 crore elevated flyover from Varthur to Gunjur and a Rs 50 crore grade separator on Alpine Eco Road, to be financed via municipal bonds.
