Bengaluru Metro Pink Line: 5 'driverless' trains for elevated section by June 2026
- •Bengaluru Metro's Pink Line elevated section (7.5 km) aims to start operations with 5 "driverless-capable" trains by June 2026.
- •The prototype train for the Pink Line is scheduled to be unveiled on December 11.
- •The remaining 13.7 km underground section of the Pink Line is expected to open by December 2026.
- •The 21-km Pink Line will eventually feature 23 trainsets, supplied by BEML.
