Check Your Name: EC Releases Draft Electoral Rolls for 5 Regions

• The Election Commission (EC) released draft electoral rolls for West Bengal, Rajasthan, Goa, Puducherry, and Lakshadweep as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
• Voters can check their names on voters.eci.gov.in using their Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number or via the ECINET app.
• The ECINET app allows searching by Voter ID/EPIC or by scanning a QR code from the SIR form to download/share records.
• If your name is missing, submit Form-6 with Annexure-IV to the Booth Level Officer (BLO) and attend a hearing with proof of citizenship.
• Over 1 crore electors were left out compared to the previous list, with 12.32 crore names included in the new draft rolls.
