• He defeated Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Rokon Reza Sheikh by 77,704 votes.
• Fazlur Rahman, a freedom fighter and senior advocate, secured victory with the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol.
• Total voters in Kishoreganj-4 are 408,352 across 151 polling centers.
• Shama Obaid also wins Faridpur-2 constituency for BNP with 121,694 votes.
