IMD Orange Alert: Jharkhand Braces for 70KM/hr Winds, Rain; Daltonganj Swelters at 39.4°C
•Jharkhand's capital Ranchi experienced a night-like atmosphere on Sunday afternoon due to dark clouds, lightning, thunder, and strong winds, with light rain.
•Daltonganj recorded the highest maximum temperature in Jharkhand at 39.4°C, while Latehar saw a pleasant 30°C, 7-8 degrees lower than other districts.
•A Western Disturbance and an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation are influencing Jharkhand, bringing possibilities of rain and lightning.
•A 2-3 degree drop in maximum temperatures is expected across many districts, offering relief from the heat, with southern districts seeing temperatures between 34-35°C.
•IMD issued an Orange Alert for 7 districts (Bokaro, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Ramgarh, Deoghar, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Giridih, Saraikela Kharsawan, Jamshedpur) for lightning and rain with winds up to 70 km/hr, and a Yellow Alert for 7 other districts (Palamu, Latehar, Lohardaga, Garhwa, Chatra, Simdega) with 40 km/hr winds.
