EC to Deploy 360-Degree Cameras, Body Cams for Unprecedented Election Surveillance

• Election Commission to use advanced PTZ cameras for live streaming at naka checking points, covering 360 degrees.
• These cameras, mounted on central force vehicles, can track moving objects for stricter surveillance.
• Central forces will also receive body cameras (2-3 per company) to monitor jawan activities.
• 480 companies of central forces already deployed; 2,000 companies expected by election day.
• EC aims for violence-free elections, deploying forces for peace until vote counting on May 4.
