•The National Election Commission ordered the transfer of 5 DIGs in West Bengal within 72 hours, following previous transfers of 19 CPs and SPs.
•Shrihari Pandey is the new DIG of Burdwan Range, Kankarprasad Barui for Presidency Range, and Ajit Singh Yadav for Murshidabad Range.
•Anjali Singh will be the new DIG of Jalpaiguri Range, and Rathore Amit Kumar Bhakat for Raiganj Range.
