• Businessman SK Mafizul Islam alias Mintu, an Uttam enthusiast, purchased and renovated the garden house to create the 'Uttam Museum'.
• The museum features rare photographs, film posters, unknown facts, and preserved items like a bed and fan reportedly used by the great actor.
• The initiative aims to introduce the new generation to Uttam Kumar's legacy and preserve Bengali history, with no commercial objective.
• Plans include installing a statue of Uttam Kumar and a formal inauguration coinciding with his birth centenary, possibly by a family member.
