Bakarkhani, a traditional bread, is a popular and essential dish for Sehri during the holy month of Ramadan.

Believed to originate in Bangladesh, it's now widely loved across Indian cities, with Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, being a prominent hub.
•
Prepared in hot, often wood-fired ovens, giving it a unique and special taste, a tradition maintained for nearly 100 years.
•
Golden Bakery on Jama Masjid Road, Hazaribagh, produces about one quintal daily, supplying to Giridih, Ramgarh, and Koderma.
•
Made from maida, yeast, oil, water, filled with mawa, coconut, and dry fruits, then baked at 180°C; prices range from 10 to 120 rupees.
