•Alok's life changed after a 2018 road accident involving his vehicle and a female dog and her four puppies, leading him to dedicate himself to animal welfare.
•His organization, Jyotirmay Welfare Society, registered in June 2025, has rescued approximately 2000 dogs since 2018, with 600 in the last 9 months.
•Alok's home in Maihar serves as a shelter for about 30 paralyzed and severely injured dogs, with support from Harshit Nigam, Ayush Tamrakar, and a team of volunteers.
•The society conducts monthly anti-rabies camps, educating the public on dog behavior and the importance of vaccination, and also assists mentally challenged individuals.
•A teacher by profession, Alok faces financial challenges but is supported by his father, driven by the belief that Earth belongs equally to animals and humans.
