Indore-Hyderabad Expressway Nears Completion: Travel Time Slashed to 10 Hours

• The Indore-Hyderabad semi-access controlled expressway is 80% complete and will be fully operational in a few months.
• The new expressway will reduce the 18-hour journey from Indore to Hyderabad to just 10 hours, cutting 150 km from the current 900 km distance.
• Built under the Bharatmala Project by NHAI, it's also known as the Indore-Hyderabad Economic Corridor, connecting Central India to the South.
• The project, initially slated for 2025, is now expected to be completed in 2026 due to delays.
• It will benefit three states (Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana) and boost logistics and industrial sectors, reducing transportation costs and time.
