•Anita Singh Chauhan of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, has dedicated 33 years to social service, supporting destitute, victimized, and needy women.
•She runs a counseling and shelter home, 'Mahashakti Sadan', providing accommodation, vocational training, counseling, and self-defense to empower women.
•Inspired by a Bhopal rape incident, she began advocating for women's safety and founded her organization 'SEED' in 2003.
