Sagar to Get 16,000 Crore Expressway, Cutting Travel Time by 75 km

• A new Greenfield Expressway costing 16,000 crore will connect Sagar, Vidisha, and Kota, reducing the distance by 75 km.
• The expressway will cut travel time between Sagar and Kota from 8 hours 45 minutes to just 6 hours.
• Union Minister Nitin Gadkari approved the 16,000 crore project as part of 1 lakh crore new projects for Madhya Pradesh.
• Sagar will also benefit from the 40,000 crore Gwalior, Bhopal, Nagpur Green Expressway and a 52 km four-lane road from Bina to Sironj.
• The new road network is expected to boost trade, industrial development, land prices, and overall connectivity for Sagar residents.
