Illiterate Ramji Manjhi Teaches Foreign Languages to Begging Children in Bodh Gaya
•
Ramji Manjhi, an uneducated man, runs a free school in Bakraur village, Bodh Gaya, for children who previously begged.
•
The school teaches Tibetan, Nepali, Hindi, English, and Mathematics to 180 Mahadalit children from classes 1 to 8.

Manjhi learned Tibetan while working in Delhi 35 years ago and later repaired an old Shepherd School building to start this initiative.
•
The school's condition for enrollment is that children must stop begging, transforming their lives through education.
