Punjab's Treasury Soars: Ranks Top 3 in Revenue Growth, Excise Earnings Jump 86%
•Punjab ranks among the top three states in India for remarkable revenue growth under the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
•Excise revenue surged by 86.77% in less than four years, significantly outperforming previous Akali-BJP and Congress governments.
•The state's own tax revenue increased from 6.39% of GSDP in 2021-22 to 7.15% in 2024-25, reaching 57,919 crore rupees.
