Jaipur's NIA Unveils Sushrut Bhawan: Specialty OPDs, Advanced Care for Patients

• National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) in Jaipur inaugurates Sushrut Bhawan, a three-story facility built at a cost of 19 crore rupees.
• Sushrut Bhawan will offer specialty OPD services for 9 types of diseases including obesity, diabetes, kidney ailments, heart conditions, cancer, and mental health.
• The new building features specialist OPDs on the first floor, modular operation theaters and wards on the second, and deluxe wards and Panchakarma on the third.
• NIA also launches a 5 crore rupee Drugs and Food Lab for testing Ayurvedic medicines and diets, with pharmacognosy and microbiological sections.
• NIA, Jaipur's largest Ayurvedic hospital, provides free healthcare, Panchakarma, emergency services, and academic courses under the Ministry of AYUSH.
