Bengaluru Engineer's AI Roommate Controls Fan Based on Sleep Posture
•
Bengaluru software engineer Pankaj developed an AI-powered system to automatically control his fan based on his sleeping posture.
•
Tired of waking up hot or cold, he created a solution using a camera, MediaPipe pose detection model, and Raspberry Pi.
•
The system detects if he's hot (arms/legs out) and turns the fan on, or cold (arms curled up) and turns it off.
•
A remote button pusher device physically operates the fan switch.
•
Pankaj's innovation went viral on social media, receiving praise for its practicality and 'real smart home' application.
