Bay of Bengal Low-Pressure System: Rains Expected in AP, Telangana; Farmers Alert!

A low-pressure system, Invest 91B, formed in the Bay of Bengal, currently 300 km east of Sri Lanka, moving towards it.
•
Though small and unlikely to intensify into a depression, it will bring scattered showers to AP and Telangana on February 22nd and 23rd.
•
Rains are due to a trough-like weather condition in AP and Telangana, strengthened by the low-pressure system and northerly winds.
•
General public and travelers will enjoy light drizzles without thunder; farmers, however, face crop damage risk.
•
Temperatures will drop slightly, and cool winds will blow; precautions advised for health, especially for children and those with cold/cough.
