Cybercrime Tragedy: Man Dies by Suicide Over Rs 3,000 Blackmail with Morphed Photos

• Prem Kumar (36) from Narayanpet, living in Ramnagar, Hyderabad, died by suicide after being blackmailed by cybercriminals.
• He received morphed nude photos with his face on WhatsApp and was threatened to pay Rs 3,000 or face public humiliation.
• The fraudsters also threatened to morph photos of his family members, causing severe mental distress.
• Despite discussing the harassment with his wife and relatives, who advised him to file a police complaint, the relentless calls led him to take his own life.
• Chikkadpally police registered a case and are investigating, urging victims of cyber harassment to report to 1930 instead of succumbing to pressure.
