2.18 Crore Names Cut from UP SIR, Final Voter List on April 10

• Approximately 2.18 crore names removed from Uttar Pradesh's voter list during the SIR process.
• The final voter list will now include about 13.25 crore voters, down from 15.44 crore before SIR.
• Hearings were conducted for 3.26 crore voters after notices were sent.
• 86.69 lakh people applied to be added, while 3.18 lakh requested removal from the list.
• 92 complaints from political parties, including 78 from Samajwadi Party and 8 from BJP, were resolved.
