40 Hospitalized After Consuming Buckwheat Flour on Maha Shivratri in Greater Noida

•Approximately 40 people fell ill after consuming buckwheat flour during Maha Shivratri fast in Greater Noida West.
•The incident occurred in Himalaya Pride and Eco Village 3 societies in the Bisrakh police station area.
•Victims experienced food poisoning symptoms like vomiting and abdominal pain after eating the flour.
•More than 27 individuals remain hospitalized due to weakness, though many were discharged after initial treatment.
•Food Safety Department is investigating the source of the buckwheat flour and will collect samples for further action.
