Amethi Women to Gain Respectable Employment via NRLM Scheme

• Unemployed women in Amethi will achieve self-reliance through skills and dignity, no longer needing to search for work.
• NRLM in-charges will conduct village-by-village selections to connect women with self-help groups and provide work based on their preferences.
• Block Management Incharges (BAMs) will reactivate inactive self-help groups and connect new women, including those from MNREGA, Bank Sakhis, BC Sakhis, and 8th-grade pass-outs, to employment.
• Women will be employed in various fields like food products (pickles, jams), clothing (tailoring, embroidery), and flower businesses, with grants available without guarantee.
• The initiative aims to empower women, reduce unemployment, and foster self-reliance, with surveys underway to identify interested participants.
