Army Soldier Arrested for Rape of Former Minister's PS's Wife in Lucknow

•Lucknow police arrested an Indian Army soldier, Anil Pandey, from Darjeeling, West Bengal.
•Pandey is accused of raping the wife of a former minister's private secretary.
•The FIR, filed on July 7, 2025, included charges of theft, threats, assault, and molestation.
•Accused allegedly held children hostage at gunpoint and raped the victim on May 25 and 27, 2025.
•Pandey also reportedly stole valuable jewelry and blackmailed the private secretary with obscene photos.
