EC Bans 6 UP Candidates for 3 Years Over Expenditure Accounts Failure

Election Commission disqualifies 6 candidates from Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections-2022 for three years.
•
Candidates failed to submit election expenditure accounts to the District Election Officer within 30 days of results.
•
Disqualification bars them from contesting Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Assembly, or Legislative Council elections.
•
Action taken under Section 78 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, as confirmed by CEO Navdeep Rinwa.
•
Disqualified include Pragya Yashoda, Surendra, Omveer, Mamta Devi (Badaun), Anil Kumar (Sambhal), and Munna Lal (Lucknow).
