Fake UP Board Marksheet Gang Busted in Prayagraj, 60+ Universities Victimized

• A gang creating fake UP Board and university mark sheets and certificates has been apprehended in Prayagraj.
• The accused used a fake website, www.upmsp-edu.in, to distribute fraudulent long-distance mark sheets.
• Since 2014, the gang has sold fake mark sheets to 7,000 individuals, including high school, intermediate, and university degrees with backdates.
• The kingpin, Shashi Prakash Rai from Azamgarh, operated a call center and targeted students via social media promotions.
• Two accused, Shashi Kumar Rai and Manish Kumar Rai, have been arrested; they allegedly sold fake degrees for 5,000 rupees each.
