Counterfeit Currency Ring Busted in Chandauli: YouTube, Google Used to Print Fake Notes

• Chandauli police busted a counterfeit currency gang in Manas Nagar, Alinagar, arresting one and detaining two juveniles.
• Accused Udham Singh Yadav (42) confessed to learning counterfeit note printing via YouTube and Google.
• He met an accomplice on Instagram who supplied equipment; exchanged 1000 genuine rupees for 3500 fake rupees.
• Police recovered 55 fake 100-rupee notes, 452 semi-finished notes, watermark sheets, bond paper, and printing equipment.
• A mini printing press, including Epson and Canon printers, laminator, light box, and a Dell laptop with 200/500 rupee note formats, was seized.
