₹850 Cr Ganga Water Project to Fully Supply Greater Noida by March 2026

• Ganga water supply to all sectors of Greater Noida is targeted for completion by March 2026.
• The ₹850 crore project includes a 22-km main pipeline and will supply 210 MLD of water daily to over 1 million people.
• Currently, 54 out of 58 sectors and six villages in Greater Noida already receive Ganga water.
• The project was formally inaugurated by CM Yogi Adityanath on November 1, 2022, following a 176-km pipeline laid between 2012-2014.
• While some reservoir construction is stalled due to land disputes, major infrastructure like the water treatment plant is fully operational.

Why It Matters: All Greater Noida residents will get clean Ganga water by March 2026.
