Noida-Greater Noida 45-meter Road Hits Snag: Land Acquisition to Resume Next Month

• Construction of the 45-meter wide parallel road to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is stalled at five locations due to land acquisition issues.
• Noida Authority will begin land acquisition from farmers next month to clear obstacles and expedite the project.
• The road is incomplete near Sector-159, between Sector-163 and 167, in front of Mohiyapur and Asadullapur villages, Sector-143 B, Sector-146, and the service road near Amity University in Sector-125.
• Completion of this road is crucial to reduce traffic pressure on the expressway and provide an alternative route, especially with the upcoming Noida Airport.
• A 600-meter interlocking road and drains are also being built in Garhi Chaukhandi at a cost of 37.89 lakh rupees to address local demands.
