UP's First Zero Poverty Colony Inaugurated: 20 Forest Families Get New Homes
- •Uttar Pradesh's first Chief Minister Zero Poverty Colony inaugurated in Direhu Gram Panchayat, Chakia block.
- •20 forest-dwelling families received keys to newly constructed permanent houses under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme (Rural) 2025-26.
- •The colony, built at a cost of approximately 2 crore rupees, provides beneficiaries with 16 government schemes simultaneously.
- •All essential facilities like electricity, drinking water, toilets, paved roads, drainage, and Ujjwala Yojana are included.
- •Construction completed in just 5 months, overseen by CDO R. Jagat Sai, who called it his 'dream project'.
