Indian Railways to run 1410 Holi Special trains to manage festive rush

• Indian Railways will operate 1,410 Holi Special trains nationwide to handle the surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Holi festival.
• The initiative aims to provide additional travel options, ensure convenience, and facilitate smooth journeys on major routes where demand peaks.
• Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will also run Holi Special trains to cater to increased travel demand in the northeastern region.
• NFR plans weekly Holi Special trains from Assam (Naranghi), West Bengal (New Jalpaiguri), and Bihar (Katihar, Kishanganj).
• These trains will connect to key North Indian destinations like Gorakhpur and Amritsar, ensuring hassle-free travel for passengers.
