Malda Youth Arrested on Terror Suspicion Ahead of Eid Return

• Umar Farooq from Malda arrested in Kolkata with 7 Bangladeshis on suspicion of plotting sabotage at Delhi and Kolkata metro stations.
• He is from Ashintola village, Manikchak Police Station, Malda, and was working as a laborer in Kolkata.
• Family claims he was framed; he was due to return home for Eid and spoke with his wife last Sunday.
• Delhi Police Crime Cell arrested a total of eight people, including two from West Bengal (Suman Sheikh and Zohab Sheikh), for attempting to spread terror.
