Swarupnagar's Ichamati River Bridge Ready: 120-foot span boosts connectivity

• A 120-foot concrete bridge over the Ichamati River in Swarupnagar, North 24 Parganas, is ready for inauguration.
• Built at an approximate cost of 16 crore rupees, the project was initiated by Union Minister Shantanu Thakur.
• The bridge will end decades of reliance on boats and temporary crossings for locals in the border area.
• It will significantly improve daily commuting, aid farmers and students, and ensure smooth movement for vehicles.
