WB Assembly Election 2026: Polling Staff's Food & Stay Worries End in Cooch Behar

• Self-help group women in Cooch Behar will provide food and accommodation items for polling staff.
• This initiative aims to resolve past difficulties faced by staff regarding food, pillows, and mosquito nets, especially in rural areas.
• Approximately 13,000 polling staff across over 2,500 booths and 140 auxiliary booths will benefit.
• Women-managed polling stations in 6 sub-divisional towns, including Mathabhanga and Dinhata, will also receive these services.
