Delhi Expands PM-JAY: Health Cover for Widows, Disabled

•Delhi Government extends PM-JAY health insurance to beneficiaries of widow pension and disability assistance schemes.
•Around 3.97 lakh widows and 1.31 lakh Divyang persons, along with their families, will now be covered.
•Approximately 5.5 lakh additional families in Delhi are expected to benefit from this expansion.
•Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated the move aims to ensure economically vulnerable residents receive medical care.
•PM-JAY provides cashless treatment for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization, with 208 empanelled hospitals in Delhi.
