Delhi Expands Atal Canteens: 25 New Outlets Open, Total Reaches 71

• Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated 25 new Atal Canteens, bringing the total to 71 across the national capital.
• These canteens will now serve 71,000 meals daily at ₹5 per meal, with a goal to reach 100 canteens.
• Lieutenant Governor Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena was present at the inauguration; CM Gupta also had a meal at the Geeta Colony canteen.
• The scheme, launched on December 25, 2025, aims to provide warm, nutritious meals to hardworking citizens with dignity.
• Each canteen is expected to serve 1,000 meals daily, benefiting over one lakh people, with ₹104 crore allocated for operation.
