Apoorva Verma, an ACP from Chittaranjan Park, Delhi, secured Rank 42 in UPSC 2025, becoming an IAS officer.
•
Originally from Bihar, her mother's sacrifices inspired her academic journey; her father was a civil engineer at Dulhasti Hydroelectric Project.
•
She credits her husband Kaushik and family for her success, having married Kaushik on December 4, 2025.
•
Despite failing UPSC Prelims in 2019, she passed both UPSC and UPPSC in 2020, focusing on self-study.
•
This was her sixth and final UPSC attempt, which she approached with a calm, stress-free mind, leading to her success.
