• The office was deserted after the July mass uprising in Bangladesh and the fall of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, 2024.
• Leaders Sifat Sikder and Mostafa Jamal Shamim hung pictures of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Hasina inside.
• The move follows instructions from Sheikh Hasina to reactivate local party offices, including Dhanmondi 32.
• Awami League leaders and activists, previously in hiding, are becoming active again after the 13th national parliamentary election.
