Ballygunge defies trend: Voters added to SIR final list amidst city-wide removals

•Ballygunge Assembly constituency uniquely added 679 names to the voter list, contrasting with removals across Kolkata.
•In Kolkata, 6.26 lakh voters' names were removed overall; 4.07 lakh from North Kolkata and 2.19 lakh from South Kolkata.
•Bhawanipur Assembly constituency saw a significant removal of 47,094 voters' names.
•After removals, Bhawanipur's voter count dropped from 2,62,095 to 1,59,201.
•Ballygunge's final voter count increased to 1,90,704 after additions.
