•Malda District Krishi Vigyan Kendra recommends special yellow, blue, and white sticky traps for pesticide-free pest control.
•Head Dushyant Kumar Raghav advises installing 20-25 traps per bigha from the flowering stage, placed at flower/leaf height.
•Change traps every 15-20 days or when adhesive dries to ensure continuous pest capture.
•These affordable traps (₹35-₹80) reduce pesticide use, prevent flower/fruit shedding, and improve yield quality.
