One Maoist was killed and a Gadchiroli Police Force jawan was injured during the operation.

The Gadchiroli Police Force launched a major operation against Maoists in the Fodewada forest, under Binagunda Police Station jurisdiction.

Police successfully destroyed two Maoist camps and recovered an advanced AK-47 rifle and other weapons.

The injured jawan belongs to the Gadchiroli Police Force's C-60 Commando unit.
