Mumbai Metro 11 Expands: 5 New Stations Added, Route Now 24.4 km

•Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced 5 new stations for Mumbai Metro Line 11, extending its route.
•The new stations are Chunabhatti, Sion, Madhyadharavi, Bandra West, and Bandra Terminus.
•The route now spans 24.4 km with 20 stations, connecting Wadala to Gateway of India.
•Estimated cost is 23,487 crores; it will link to Metro Line 4, Metro 3, and Metro Line 2B.
•This underground metro will significantly ease travel for commuters from Thane and East Mumbai to South Mumbai.
