Meerut Metro: India's Fastest Metro Launched by PM Modi, 120 Kmph Speed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Meerut Metro and Namo Bharat train at Shatabdi Nagar Namo Bharat station.
•
Meerut Metro will be India’s fastest metro system with a maximum operational speed of around 120 kmph, covering 21 km in 30 minutes.
•
For the first time in India, the metro and Namo Bharat will run on the same track.
•
The three-coach stainless steel train sets are lightweight, energy-efficient, and feature advanced technologies like ATP and ATO.
•
Each AC train has a capacity of over 700 passengers, including 173 seats.
