PM Modi Inaugurates 'Seva Teerth': New PMO, NSC, Cabinet Secretariat Complex

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Seva Teerth' complex, which will house the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the National Security Council Secretariat, and the Cabinet Secretariat.
• The PMO will shift from the South Block on Raisina Hill to Seva Teerth, consolidating key government offices previously located at different places.
• Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal, MoS Jitendra Singh, and PMO officials attended the inauguration.
• Seva Teerth's buildings feature white and red sandstone, drawing inspiration from historic Indian civic and institutional architecture, with an entrance portal inspired by Chalukyan temples.
• Designed to 4-Star GRIHA standards, the complex incorporates renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, and high-performance building envelopes, symbolizing a move away from 'colonial legacies'.
