Kota Collector Fumes Over Negligence at '5-Star' JK Lon Hospital

• District Collector Piyush Samaria expressed anger after seeing a woman sitting on the ground outside the state-of-the-art NICU ward at JK Lon Mother and Child Hospital.
• The hospital's NICU ward underwent a 5.79 crore rupee upgrade, featuring 72 NICU beds, a 20-bed mother ward, waiting areas, and a children's play area.
• Collector instructed officials to immediately improve arrangements, increase seating, utilize cottage wards, activate registration counters, and expedite OPD operations.
• He also took a strict stance on cleanliness, slippery floors, and waste management, directing penalties for contractors and improvements in lighting and parking.
• The inspection, also attended by Divisional Commissioner Anil Kumar Agarwal, aimed to ensure better facilities for patients and their families.
