Rajasthan Highway Upgrade: NH-58 Widened with ₹190 Cr to Boost Trade, Tourism

•Ajmer-Nagaur via Merta section of National Highway-58 to be widened and upgraded with ₹190 crore.
•This project is part of a larger ₹403.07 crore infrastructure development in Western Rajasthan.
•Aims to alleviate long-standing traffic congestion, reduce accidents, and improve travel times.
•Expected to boost agricultural trade from Nagaur Mandi and enhance tourism to religious and historical sites.
•MP Mahima Kumari Mewar raised the issue in Lok Sabha; Prime Minister inaugurated the project.
