CM Revanth Announces Landmark Accident Insurance & Health Scheme for State Employees

• CM Revanth introduces a first-of-its-kind accident insurance scheme for state government employees, fully funded by the government.
• Families of employees who die in an accident will receive up to Rs 1.2 crore; natural death before 60 includes Rs 10 lakh term insurance.
• Digital health identity cards for 17.7 lakh employees and pensioners offer cashless treatment for 1998 diseases in 652 hospitals.
• A health security fund, managed by the Chief Secretary, will be created with employee contributions and an equal government deposit.
• 434 new jobs sanctioned in the health department, including 31 posts in each of 14 new government nursing colleges, to boost medical services.
